SAFETY FUSE

Description

The Safety fuse consists of a train of black powder, enclosed by several strands wound jute, covered with one or more layers of jute, bitumen and colouring composition. It is also covered with polypropylene film in case of Blue Label. Whereas Green Label bears polyethylene coating. The fuse is capable of burning continuously at a uniform rate along it's entire length. The Black Powder used for making the safety fuse is a mixture of Potassium Nitrate, Sulphur and Charcoal.

BLUE LABEL SAFETY FUSE

  1. White : Cotton Guide Yarn -2 nos

The fuse has O.D. of 4.60 to 5.00 mm,powder core of 4-5 gms/mtr,and rate of burning 115 +/- 10 secs/mtr.It is supplied either in coils of 10 mtrs.each or 250/500/1000 mtrs on a reel.

Preprinted pilfer proof selo Adhesive Polythene Tape with "SUN BRAND SAFETY FUSE" is used to seal the box to ensure that the contents in the box are intact. The Corrugated Box is properly strapped with relevant colour strapping with printing "SUN BRAND-SAFETY FUSE" indicating the respective type of Safety Fuse placed in it. Coiled safety fuse material inserted in polythene bags, which is then packed in corrugated boxes OR Safety fuse material wounded on wooden reels and inserted in a polythene bag, which is then packed in corrugated boxes. Export oriented material will be packed in IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging) approved corrugated boxes bearing valid IIP certificate.

      2. Lead Time : For supply of one million metres we require one month from the date of placement of order along with confirmed L.C.in our favour.
      3. A 20 feet container can accommodate 0.5 Meters of Safety Fuse.
      4. We can also undertake manufacture of any other type of Safety Fuse required for fancy fireworks etc.

Storage

Safety Fuse should be stored in dry place and as far as possible should be protected from excess heat or extreme cold and not to be exposed to oil and other solvents
